5 Different Marijuana Recipes for Your Thanksgiving Celebrations

During thanksgiving, everyone usually pigs out on food. Its the day to lose concerns about your diet and pig out. At least you have other 364 days to worry about that diet. On this special day, you can take on as much food as you can handle. In that case, marijuana recipes can be an exciting venture for you. In the culture of cannabis, it is expected that many people will toke up prior to having the main meal. How about going further to make edibles for your thanksgiving occasion? In recent times, the US has experienced many states legalizing the use of marijuana, both for medical and recreational purposes. Therefore, you can now access weed through various marijuana delivery services spread out within your region. Having legally acquired marijuana from an authorized dealer, it is time to make your edibles. Bring your creativity to the kitchen, here are 5 marijuana-infused recipes that can make your Thanksgiving more special than you have always done it:-

  1. 1. Mashed Potatoes Weed Recipe

Requirements: 3 big russet potatoes, 1 tablespoon of black pepper, 6 ounces of ricotta cheese, 1 tablespoon of kosher Salt, 3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil, 8 tablespoons of cannabis butter, 1/4 pint of pot milk and 1 tablespoon of chopped thyme

Procedure:

Slice your potatoes into small cubes. Boil them in salted water to a point where you can stub them using a fork but fall off with ease. Mash your cooked potatoes a bit and then add the cannabis butter. Continue with the mashing while mixing with the cannabis butter. Add the remaining ingredients to your potato mash. Carry on with the mashing process to get a uniform mixture. It doesn’t have to be very smooth. You can take it with lumps if you don’t mind.

Requirements: 2 medium-sized onions, 1/4 teaspoon of ground nutmeg, 1 cup of chicken stock, 1 tablespoon of olive oil, 1/2 cup of bread crumbs, 1 pound of fresh green beans, 3 tablespoons of multi-purpose flour, 3 tablespoons of cannabis butter and a 1/2 teaspoon of minced garlic

Procedure:

Preheat your kitchen oven to about 375°F. Slice your onions into very thin pieces. Heat the olive oil in a big skillet using medium heat. Cook the onions to a deep brown color. Make sure they are caramelized and then toss them with bread crumbs. Heat the weed butter using a large skillet over a low-medium source of heat. Add pepper, garlic and nutmeg. Allow these to cook for about a minute as you keep on stirring. Sprinkle flour over your pan and continue stirring for several minutes. Next, put in the chicken stock and simmer it. Swirl in half and half until you attain a thick mixture. Get off the skillet from the heat and mix ¼ of the onion along, the bread crumb and the green beans. After that, add 1 ½ of quart baking dish using a cooking spray and fill ¾ full using the bean blend. With the remaining onion and bread crumb mixture, dress the top of your pan. While it is still uncovered, bake for about 45 minutes. The mixture should be bubbly and the top brown by the time you take it off the heat.

Procedure: Heat to melt the marijuana butter using a small saucepan over a low source of heat. Blend in the rest of your ingredients. Start by stuffing the turkey and/or season it using pepper and salt. On your Turkey’s skin, make an incision and force a finger through it, breaking the contact between the meat and the skin. Use a meat injector and squirt a half of the butter mixture under the Turkey’s skin.  Cook your turkey the way you please and baste it using the remaining butter blend after every half an hour until it is fully cooked.

  1. 4. Marijuana-Infused Bread

Requirements:  3 tablespoons of cannabis butter in two portions, 1 ½ cups of water, ¼ cup of non-fat dry milk, 4 Cups of Bread Flower or multipurpose Flour, 3 tablespoons of granulated sugar, 1 ½ tablespoons of salt, 2 tablespoons of finely crushed weed and 2 tablespoons of Active Dry Yeast.

Procedure: For 10 minutes, proof the yeast in warm water using a 1/8 tablespoon of the sugar combined with an equal portion of water. Yeast should release big bubbles at the edges.  In a different bowl, mix the sugar, cannabis, flour and the dry milk using your hands in order to crush the flour and make the mixture fluffy and light. Make a well at the center of the dry ingredients and add the wet ingredients at the center. With your hands, mix all for about 15 minutes. Add extra flour if the mixture is too sticky and wet. On the contrary, add water to make it less firm.  When you have gotten a smooth mixture, cover the bowl using a plastic wrap and keep it in a warm place. Your dough will rise to about twice its original size.  Cut your dough into small pieces and make rolls. Spread cannabis butter over them and cook for about 30 minutes in 350 degrees heat until it changes to golden brown.

Mix the milk, nutmeg, molasses, vanilla, cinnamon, beaten eggs, pumpkin and brown sugar. Beat the mixture. Add Cannabutter and pour the formed paste into a pastry pie crust.
