NYC Diesel is a rare and new strain with a lack of credible information. The genetics of this strain is unknown, though it can be suggested with reasonable certainty that one of its parents is the incredibly popular NYC Diesel, winner of 5 cannabis cup awards. It seems to be a well-balanced hybrid that is perhaps slightly Sativa dominant. THC levels are unknown but it is not said to be a hugely potent strain of marijuana. It has bright olive-green buds with red hairs, purple and pink hues with white crystal trichomes. In other words, it looks simply incredible. Unfortunately, both the taste and smell leave much to be desired, with sour undertones and a cheesy diesel smell. The high itself is often described as energizing and uplifting, but this is not solely a Sativa strain. After a while the Indica effects do kick in, how strongly is dependent on how much you take and in what time period.
