OG A Strain
OG A is a rare strain of marijuana that originated in California. Not much is known about this strain, like many of the OG strains that seem to stem exclusively from the region – OG B, OG C etc. It is held to be a 50/50 hybrid with balanced Indica and Sativa effects. The THC levels, CBD content, breeder and genetic lineage of OG A are unknown. THC levels are estimated to be in the region of 16-20% making this a moderately powerful strain. OG A has dense and bright green buds along with a sour scent. But the taste of OG A is quite nice, a mix of citrus and lemon zest. OG A is said to be a creeper, meaning the effects come on over time. Users will note a rush of euphoria and happiness before the body buzz kicks in to provide a balance between relaxation and stimulation which many cannabis users are looking for.
Why do Patients Use OG A?
OG A is a moderate but well-balanced strain of marijuana. While there appears to be little solid data, what information is available does seem to suggest that it can be used for the treatment of anxiety, depression, stress, mild pain, minor insomnia, and migraines. Well balanced strains like OG A are generally useful for multiple moderate conditions but for severe pain or insomnia, strong Indicas do better and for psychotic conditions, a strong Sativa is more effective. For anything in-between or for general recreational rest and relaxation OG A does just fine.
