Oil of Cannabis Strain
Cannabis oil is typically a THC resin extract made from marijuana strains. Cannabis Oil is one of the most potent types of THC extracts around and is far purer than typical strains of marijuana. This is because oil of cannabis is purer and cleaner than inhaling THC via combustion or inhalation. Concentrates and tinctures are generally far cleaner or purer than marijuana, and as such are a little more expensive. Oil of cannabis is generally extracted using a solvent, typically grain alcohol. The medical cannabis resin is extracted from the cannabis plant and this was first done by cannabis survivor Rick Simpson. For this reason, oil of cannabis is sometimes referred to as Rick Simpson Oil (RSO). It can also be called Fully Extracted Cannabis Oil (FECO) or Jamaican Oil.
Why do Patients Use Oil of Cannabis?
Oil of cannabis has many medical benefits, though it is most commonly known for the treatment of epilepsy and skin cancer. There are a wide variety of cannabis on the market today.
