Red Beard Strain
There is little available data on Red Beard. It was a very common strain of marijuana popular in the eighties and the nineties and is thought to be from Jamaica. There is another strain known as Swazi South African Red Beard which Red Beard is often mistaken for. There is practically no information available online with regard to the THC, CBD or genetics of Red Beard. Look skeptically on vendors who claim to be selling this strain of marijuana, as the real thing is probably lost. Red Beard got its name from its long red hairs and is a nostalgic favorite of many cannabis customers.
Why do Patients Use Red Beard?
Red Beard is not readily available from medical dispensaries; thus, it is difficult to say what its uses are. As it is reported to be an Indica dominant hybrid, the most probable uses are chronic pain, nausea, appetite, and insomnia.

Wow product it give me all the happiness in the world.
I went to the tip of south Trinidad and found the red beard strain growing…after befriending the growers, I have plenty of seeds from growing the strain over there. The only thing is the strain will herm very easily – it appears to be part of the genetics of the plant, not due to stress. The bananas appear at the bottom of the plant but will appear throughout – however for some reason, the additional hormones activated make a super powerful plant regardless of the seeds. The seeds are almost all female…however again, they herm.
To my knowledge I’ve grown up around this strain its one of the landraces or what we call “local” in Trinidad and Tobago where I live not Jamaica though.
Hi I’d like seeds if you still have
