It was first bred by Federation Seeds and is a 70/30 hybrid in favor of Sativa. It is a mix between Skunk #1 and an unknown Sativa. The effects start off with a cerebral high which slowly fades to a full body buzz. Sweet Island Skunk gives tall, high yielding plants and has a fruity aroma that is often likened to grapefruit. Some vary of Sweet Island Skunk have an increased CBD content. Buds often have bright yellow and orange hairs. The effects of Sweet Island Skunk are most often described as happy and uplifting.
