For many, going all the way down to a medical dispensary can be a considerable burden. People suffering from chronic illnesses cannot deal with the stress of travelling miles to the nearest dispensary to stand in line. Because of this phenomenon, and others, there have been a number of dispensary delivery services which do a better job of delivering marijuana than physical dispensaries. This can be awkward and physical dispensaries often have a poorer selection of products which do not cater effectively to the needs of patients. Pot Valet has a huge range of products on offer and a wide range of Sativa, Indica and hybrid strains of marijuana, not to mention concentrates, vaporizers, oils and edibles. Everything you can possibly need are located in the store.
All of the products are delivered to the door within 45 minutes and many regions in California are serviced, including Ventura, Santa Barbara, Anderson, Irvine, Culver City, Beverly Hills and more. It has never been as easy to obtain your marijuana, all you need is a certificate from the doctor verifying you are a marijuana patient.
With the passing of Proposition 64 in November 2016, recreational marijuana is set to become a reality in the state of California. California has recently legalized marijuana in 1996, and the decision to allow recreational marijuana was another significant event in the marijuana industry. However, once a marijuana law is passed at the state level, it is up to local cities and counties to consider if they want to implement it. A number of regions have since decided to ban marijuana activities altogether, as they view it as being harmful to the community.
Redding, an area which kicked out all marijuana related activities and dispensaries nearly 10 years ago, is again reconsidering whether or not to allow the business back in. Officials heldthree workshops discussing the industry and what they would do now that recreational marijuana use was legalized. The panel of experts talked about lab testing and manufacturing of marijuana products, as well as medical dispensaries and marijuana related business activities.
City Attorney Barry DeWalt said while workshops are not the typical method, they were designed to educate the public and city staff as well as gather input from the public.DeWalt will now take the information learned and meet with the city manager to narrow down a recommendation. He said any ordinance would most likely not be approved before January 1, 2018. That’s when regulations for Proposition 64 from the state go into effect. If that happens DeWalt adds he will ask city council to extend the current moratorium on marijuana until that ordinance goes into effect.
And so, the decision to allow marijuana back into the City of Redding is currently being considered. The arguments for and against are typical. If marijuana is allowed into the City, then it will see increased revenue (lots of increased revenue) and will make it easier for marijuana patients as well as cannabis connoisseurs in general. Some also suggest that it will lead to a lesser use of harder drugs and opiates, which will also result in a lessening of crime. Opponents of marijuana will suggest that the opening of medical dispensaries and permitting marijuana related activities will lead to a degradation of society and is not really necessary. Most likely we will see a delay in the form of an ordinance which bans marijuana for a year or so before the situation is reviewed. While this might seem to be a cautious decision, it will lead to lost revenue.
It is said that as a result of the marijuana closures in Redding in 2011, Lake Shasta City became the area hub of cannabis resources, eventually reaching the mark of bringing in $450,000 in cannabis related tax revenue. There are currently 3 dispensaries in Lake Shasta City. Recreational marijuana is a much bigger market not limited to qualified medical patients and with much increased potential revenue.
While many may lament the fact that they can no longer get their marijuana from a physical dispensary, in many respects the point is moot. Licensed online delivery services such as Pot Valet often provide a better service, for lower prices, with a better range of products. And even if a medical dispensary opened in Redding, it would still make far more sense to order with Pot Valet. The ordering process is streamlined, the quality of the marijuana is second to none and there is a huge product range of all the best strains of marijuana. And you can even avail of coupons and discounts on your first order and on certain recurring orders. With marijuana that is of a premium caliber and 100% certified, as well as delivery speeds within 45 minutes, all of the stress over physical medical dispensaries is unwarranted.
